This past Friday, the Sports Quest Inc (OTCMKTS:SPQS) stock emerged as one of the more notable gainer in the market despite there being no news about the company at all. The stock was in considerable focus on Friday and ended the day with gains of as much as 46%.
In this situation, it might be a good idea for investors to take a look at some of the key development from last month. Back on July 13 the company announced that its tax assessment issue had been resolved with the State of Delaware and that made Sports Quest current with the state.
It goes without saying that it was a major development for the company and may have brought it on to the radars of many investors. However, that was not all. In the update to its shareholders Sports Quest also announced that it sent in an application to the OTC Markets so that it could provide reports with regards to its activities.
The application had also been sent in prior to the deadline that had been set on June 30, 2021. It is now going to be interesting to see if any fresh news emerges about the company next week.
