International leader in LED Street Lights products and integrated Smart City solutions, Viper Networks (OTCMKTS:VPER), on August 13, 2021, announced reaching a final 20-year agreement with a consortium of 21 cities across Chicago, Illinois for building and operating diverse smart city projects.
Cities are aiming to harness the $1.2 Trillion Infrastructure Bill cleared this week and Viper Networks is looking to partner with the latest services and technology, and launching Smart City Projects countrywide.
American cities are looking to bring a change to their infrastructure and Viper Networks is focusing on providing municipalities to control and adjust street lighting as well as monitoring activities.
The project will start in the cities of Palos Hills and Justice, with the rollout of 2,000 smart poles by the second half of 2022, which will generate annual revenue of $10 million.
Viper Networks will demonstrate smart poles operating with smart wireless control as well as wireless 6E and 5G interconnection in the Greater Chicago area. It also confirmed on live streaming in media at the project opening. Mr. FaridShouekani, Viper Networks CEO and President said that the company has commenced a novel Public Private relationship in the last three years with Illinois suburban cities and has enhanced technology. The CEO said that the company is thrilled on ensuring shareholders comprehend the significance of application in Greater Chicago.
