Alternet Systems (OTCMKTS:ALYI )on August 16, 2021, released a report on the company’s electric vehicle taxi pilot initiative in Africa.
The company CEO Dr.RandellTorno came back to Dallas after EV Pilot waypoint meetings in Nairobi and had also visited Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Dr.Torno said that the company’s pilot initiative is “comprehensive” and said that the company is testing a particular business solution harnessing electric motorcycles.
Dr.Torno added that the company is trailing a business solution having the ability to utilize thousands of electric motorcycles. The CEO opined that to develop an electric motorcycle would entail competing with Harley Davidson and is instead introducing a solution to an existing enterprise using millions of combustion engine motorcycles.
Torno said that the firm is convincing some individuals in a decision-making authority for engaging millions of motorcycles on the benefits of its value proposition. The purpose is to ensure the deployment of electric motorcycles into boda-boda enterprises, which can be efficient than the combustion engine motorcycles.
The company is engaged in EV symposiums and conferences for advancing EV technology for the African market, a market constrained by a rugged environment and low per capita transport deployment. Torno said that the pilot program must address maintenance, charging as well as financing amongst enterprise pacing items.
