The hemp industry has emerged as one of the more intriguing sectors for investors in recent times and people are increasingly looking for stocks in that space. A hemp stock that investors could look into today is that of Puration Inc (OTCMKTS:PURA), due to the sort of gains it delivered in recent days.
Yesterday, the stock was in focus once again among investors and ended the day with gains of 16%. Those gains took the gains over the course of the past week to a handsome 55%. Puration is involved in signing up cultivation and processing partners with aim of creating an industrial hemp brand cooperative.
The cooperative is going to operate under the brand name Farmersville Hemp. It is an ambitious plan for Puration since the company is looking to create a marketing vehicle that could serve a wide range of processors and growers under its brand name.
However, that is not all. The Farmersville Hemp brand has been created at a time when there is a new wave of interest in hemp from some of the world’s biggest celebrities. For instance, Beatles legend Paul McCartney recently expressed his views on hemp and also stated that he was, in fact, farming it.
