Friday’s OTC Watchlist

Trading volume in the OTC markets is approaching $600 billion for the year.  Cryptocurrency and cannabis have brought a new speculative investor to the table and many emerging companies, as well as their investors, are benefiting.

The time is ripe for OTC investors, and here are 5 stocks, that have piqued my interest with their performance this week.

Guyana Gold Corp. (OTCMKTS:GYGC)

GYGC started the week at 7 cents per share, Monday’s buyers are smiling this morning with the stock set to open at $0.14.  The junior mineral exploration company, engaging in the identification, acquisition, and development of precious and base metal properties in the Caribbean, saw most of its action yesterday when the stock traded over one million shares.

There’s no current news, and gold prices were flat Friday, so this could just be a momentum play.

North Bay Resources Inc. (OTCMKTS:NBRI)

North Bay Resources opened Monday at $0.0019 and closed Thursday at a new weekly high of $0.0033, up 73%.  North Bay is a Canadian junior miner with a Platinum project located in British Columbia.  Their last press release came out 2 months ago, it is worth watching where the stock goes from here.

Harris Exploration Inc. (OTCMKTS:HXPN)

Harris Exploration announced it would raise $500 million in debt capital 11 days ago.  Since then the stock had made modest gains until Thursday when their gains became a bit more confident. The stock saw an intraday high of $0.189.  Closing at $0.1075 the stock was still up 62% on the day.  It will be interesting to see if the stock can regain that bullish momentum this morning.

Allied Energy Corporation (OTCMKTS:AGYP)

AGYP, a producing oil company trading under a dollar, which is a bit of a unicorn on the OTC markets; has had quite a week.  The stock opened Monday at 29 cents and saw a huge surge in volume when it announced its newest acquisition, the Prometheus project located in Texas.  Its intraweek high is $0.3952.  Yesterday it pulled back to 35 cents.  Can the stock rally today?  Momentum is still bullish looking at the stochastic indicators.  Keep an eye on this at the open.

Sustainable Green Team Ltd. (OTCMKTS:SGTM)

Great name right? Investors are hoping this team can sustain their green, and if this week is any indication they may just follow through on the promise.  All jokes aside, the stock is up 256% this week which is quite impressive for a $4 stock.  The wholesale manufacturer and supplier of wood-based mulch and lumber products, selling direct to mass merchandisers, home centers, hardware stores, nurseries, garden centers, convenience, food, and drug stores, will look to find more green for their team when they present at the LD Microcap conference next week.  Keep this on your watchlist.
