Environmental Tectonics Corporation (OTCMKTS:ETCC) has made an announcement on February 24, 2022 about the appointment of Joseph F. Verbitski, Jr. as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, effective immediately.
The company is involved in designing, manufacturing, and sale of software driven products and services used to recreate and monitor the physiological effects of motion on humans, along with equipment to control, modify, simulate and measure environmental conditions. Products include aircrew training systems, disaster management systems, sterilizers, environmental testing and simulation systems, and more.
Robert L. Laurent, Jr. Environmental Tectonics Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer and President, has commented that Mr. Verbitski’s background and experience will prove to be a valuable asset to their management team.
The 55-year old Mr.Verbitski has vast experience in the Accounting and Finance sector with international and defense related expertise. His most recent responsibility was as Chief Financial Officer with BMI Merchandise. He was with Chemring PLC/Chemring Countermeasures North America where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President from 2007-2019.
In addition to the roles mentioned above, Mr. Verbitski served as Group Controller for Applied Tech Products from 2001 to 2007. He has a M.B.A. from Widener University and a B.S. in Accounting from LaSalle University.
