Brookmount Explorations, Inc. Announces Revenue & Profit Increase for 3 Months Ending Feb 28, 2022
During the quarter, Brookmount had revenue from gold sales of $4.01 million, which was 33% higher over corresponding quarter in 2021. The company’s net income was marginally over $1.9 million, increase of 46% over previous period in 2021. This led to earnings per share of $0.11/share.
The company confirmed that operations at its Talawaan site is performing strongly, which is providing the backbone for recent strong operating results. It added that excavation and processing of high-yield ore seam have continued. Furthermore, the management said that Covid-19 restrictions are being lifted in Indonesia and is expecting operations at the Alason heap leaching site to resume over the next quarter.
In line with the policy of investor outreach and operational transparency, the firm will be hosting a conference call with investors for discussing operational results. Currently, the firm conducts its gold mining as well as processing operations through Indonesian subsidiary incorporated in Sulawesi Province, Republic of Indonesia.
Brookmount had also acquired 5000 HA high grade ore property, along with mining infrastructure, in the Canadian side of Tintina Gold Belt, a repository of high-quality gold. This stretches from Alaska to Yukon in Canada, which is being brought into production over the next 12 months.
