Significant changes at the executive and board levels always bring a company on to the radars of investors and this morning Breakthrough Chemistry Inc (OTC:MGON) could be one to watch. The company, which is involved in the environmental preservation sector, made a series of announcements yesterday about such changes yesterday. Let’s take a closer look.
Key Resignations
It was announced yesterday that the company’s board of directors accepted the resignation of Joshua Johnston from the board. Johnston also stepped from his position of Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of the company. Additionally, Simon Johnston stepped down from his position on the Breakthrough Chemistry board as well. In the news release, the company also announced that both those resignations came about due to the possibility of pursuing other opportunities. There were no disagreements with the other board members.
Fresh Appointments
However, that was not all. Breakthrough Chemistry also announced that it had appointed current member of the Board of Directors Mark Suchy as the secretary, treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, Bruce Johnston, who was a member of the advisory committee of the company was added to the board. It should be noted that Bruce Johnston is not related to the other Johnstons who resigned.
