UAV Corp (OTC: UMAV) Stock Takes a Hit: Here is Why

The advanced surveillance products company UAV Corp (OTC: UMAV) could be the one to watch this morning in light of the announcement it made yesterday. The company hit the news cycle yesterday after it made an announcement with regards to its pathbreaking new artificial intelligence-backed WAMI (Wide Area Motion Imagery) technology.

The Update

In the news release, UAV announced that the technology combined advanced artificial intelligence with unmatchable imaging capabilities and advanced station-keeping of Skyborne platforms. As a consequence, the company managed to develop a real-time, 24/7 monitoring service that would exceed the limitations experienced by traditional aerial and satellite surveillance systems.

Major Breakthrough

The company went on to note that the Skyborne-powered WAMI technology would be able to offer a pathbreaking leap in the realm of earth observation technology. It would provide 10 times better resolution and twice the area coverage in addition to 5 times the operational user capability in comparison to its closest competitor in the commercial space. The technology would also offer the capability of recording live video across an expanse of 24 square kilometers in 10 cm resolution. It remains to be seen if the UAV stock manages to get any traction this week or not.

CEO Quote
