There are a large number of companies that are going to be on the radars of investors this morning, and one of those could be Apple Rush Co Inc (OTC:APRU) in light of the development of last week. The company was in sharp focus last Thursday after it made a major new announcement with regards to a breakthrough in its business.
Brewery Construction Milestone
The company, which is a leading supplier in the botanical functional beverage industry, announced that it had been successful in the completion of phase two of its Lena Brewery. In the news release, Apple Rush announced that the brewery in question consisted of a total of two spaces. One of the spaces is for the canning of botanical beverages and the other is only for beer, which is why the separation of the two had become necessary to avoid any kind of contamination.

The expansion of the space consisted of a brand new 70-ton chiller, 200 bbl extra space for botanical beverages, and an inline carbonation system to suit the company’s style of production. It was also noted that Apple Rush had made a major investment in order to take care of the expansion and had also put a team in place to take the whole thing to a new level.

Tony Torgerud, CEO of Apple Rush, said, “APRU has spent an enormous amount of capital to do this expansion and has built a team that can take it to the next level.Our final commissioning of the new equipment is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday of next week.This commissioning will give us the capability to produce 30,000 cans a day with a long shift or two short shifts.We are expecting to add a second shift during the second quarter to give us the capacity of 1 million cans a month in a five-day week. The company plan is to focus on existing product lines but is seeking additional labels within the botanical category and is quoting new business weekly. Manufacturing facilities make the most money operating seven days a week, and our goal will be to push production to that level to maximize returns for our investors.
