Despite there being no news about the company at all, the multi-platform entertainment company saw its stock soar by as much as 58% on Friday as investors piled on to the stock in a big way. In this situation, it should be noted that there has been no news about the company for more than two years and the last time any news emerged was back in March 2019.
At the time, VGTel announced that it Mark B. Newbauer had been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer as well as the Chairman of the company. While it is true that it was a significant step from the company at the time, it is also true that it is highly unlikely that the appointment made two years ago had any bearing on the rally in the stock on Friday. Hence, in this situation, investors might think that the rally may have been entirely speculative in nature. At this point, it might be a good idea to keep an eye on any news regarding VGTel.
