Receives Additional Advisory Services and Funding to Advance Demonstration Plant Project
Earlier on in the month of January 5 the company announced that it managed to get more funding and also advisory services from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program.
The additional support is going to be provided to the development project, titled, ‘Demonstration of Continuous Recycling of Cathode Material from Lithium-ion Battery Production Scrap’, that had been launched by American Manganese back in August last year.

On the other hand, back on December 22, 2021, the company had also provided a review of its activities for the year 2021. In the review, the company mentioned some of the milestones that had made the position of American Manganese strategically stronger. One of the major highlights for the company in 2021 was the production of lithium sulphate with a purity level of as much as 99.99%.
On the other hand, American Manganese also started the preparation, modeling, and design with regard to the demonstration plant for RecycLiCo.
