On Wednesday, GTE stock was up 6.25% to $1.02 with more than 11.49 million shares exchanged hands, below its average volume of 3 million shares.  Last week, the company announced the 2021 year-end reserves as evaluated by the Company’s independent qualified reserves evaluator McDaniel & Associates Consultants Ltd. (“McDaniel”) in a report with an effective date of December 31, 2021 (the “GTE McDaniel Reserves Report”).

Sierra Metals Inc. (AMEX:SMTS) was one the major stock movers in the previous session on unusual volume. The stock went up 2.34% to $1.31 with more than 319k shares traded hands, compared to its average volume of 596K shares. The company announced the completion of an internal organizational review, following the strategic review announced in late 2021.

Comstock Mining Inc. (AMEX:LODE) stock continued to trend higher after the recent slump. LODE stock ended higher by 1.33 to $1.52 with more than 546k shares exchanged hands, above its average volume of 906K shares. The stock is trading above 22% from its 52-week low and 84% away from its 52-week high. Comstock Mining Inc. engages in the exploration, development, and production of mineral properties in Nevada. The company explores for gold, silver, lithium, nickel, cobalt, and mercury ores.

New Gold Inc. (AMEX:NGD) stock continued to trend lower after the recent slump.  The stock has moved up 9% over the past one month. NGD stock closed higher by 1.27% to $1.60 in previous trading session with volume of 6.53 million shares, compared to its average volume of 9.78 million shares. New Gold Inc., an intermediate gold mining company, engages in the development and operation of mineral properties. It primarily explores for gold, silver, and copper deposits.

Nuverra Environmental Solutions Inc. (AMEX:NES) stock continued to trend higher after moving lower recently. NES stock ended higher by 7.22% to $1.93 with more than 145K shares exchanged hands, above its average volume of 3.01 million shares. The stock is trading above 48% from its 52-week low and 57% away from its 52-week high.
