Uplift Aerospace announced that that Jose M Hernandez had become the honorary Space+ member astronaut. It was a major new development for the company considering the fact that Hernandez had been an astronaut for NASA. In addition to that, he had also been an engineer at the Space Shuttle for the STS-128 mission that had taken place in August of 2009.
In his capacity as an honorary astronaut, he will be responsible for participating in virtual as well as in person events for the company. It is a move that may help Uplift Aerospace in the long term and it is going to be interesting to see if it does lead to any boost for the stock of its parent company NRP Stone. At his point, it may be a good idea for investors to consider adding this stock to their watch lists.
