Whenever a company comes up with an innovative new product in a long existing industry, then it is necessary for the product to be certified by organizations of standing. Perhaps it is even more important when the product in question is meant for fire firefighting.
Mighty Fire Breaker, the fully owned subsidiary unit of General Environmental Ventures Inc (OTCMKTS:GEVI), is currently one of the more interesting outfits in the firefighting industry since it has come up with a highly innovative product, the MFB-31 Citrotech.
The product in question is described by the company as an ‘environment safe proactive fire detection process’. At a time when almost all key industries are trying to ‘go green, it is an innovation that could well prove to be a popular product in the long run.
However, more importantly, the product has been approved by some of the more influential government agencies and that supports the company’s claims. In addition to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL), the product has also been certified by the Aquatic Testing Laboratories (ATL).
These are all important certifications that could only help the product and Mighty Fire Breaker in the long run. In this context, it may be a good idea for investors to get a better idea of the implications of certification from ATL.
The organization is a private testing laboratory and is only involved in providing its customers with the testing necessary for gauging aquatic toxicity. The approval from ATL is an implication that the MFB-31 Citrotech product is in fact free of toxicity and chemicals, as has been claimed by Mighty Fire Breaker.
It goes without saying that it is another feather in the cap for the company and could prove to be another reason why customers may choose to go with the product for their firefighting needs.
