Blackrock Silver Corp (OTCMKTS: BKRRF) had announced new high-grade gold and silver drill intercepts from the core and RC drilling program on its 100% owned Tonopah West project in Walker lane trend in Western Nevada
Blackrock hits high-grade gold and silver intercepts
The new results show that high-grade mineralization is continuing at both the Victor and DPB targets and that preliminary infill drill results at DPB confirm Blackrock’s understanding of the vein system’s structural orientation, demonstrating the deposit’s world-class potential as it works toward its first resource estimate in the fourth quarter of 2021.
CEO and President Andrew Pollard said, “As initial drill results roll in from our resource definition program at DPB, we’re excited to have encountered a new bonanza-grade zone on the Bermuda vein, which has given us the highest-grade core intercept to date across the entire project. With six veins within the scope of our maiden resource estimate at DPB, continuity of the high-grade mineralization is rapidly being established, and with sixty percent of the definition program now complete, we are well on track to have it finalized during the fourth quarter.”
Blackrock increases land position on Tonopah mining camp
The company has announced an increase in its land position to the west and north of current patented lands. The company staked an extra 260 unpatented lode mining claims covering 21 sq. km, thus tripling its land position in the prolific Tonopah west miming camp. The claims extend to the northwest of the Pittsburgh- Monarch fault system, which is an area with the thickest veins within the Tonopah district and connected with the structural zone.
Pollard said, “By more than tripling our current land position along such a key structural zone within this storied district, it represents a coup for us and we’re excited to get to work refining drill targets.”
