NASDAQ Energy Winners: PRVB, APA, CHK, NXGN, SIBN

APA Corporation (NASDAQ:APA) is another stock in the energy sector which has been showing consistent rise. The stock has moved up 25% over the past one month. Moreover, the stock has soared 216% so far this year. The stock is trading above 227% from its 52-week low and 4% away  from its 52-week high.

Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:CHK) stock continued to trend higher in Wednesday’s trading session. CHK stock ended higher by 3.33% to $67.55 with more than 2.75 million shares exchanged hands, below its average volume of 1.41 million shares. The stock is trading above 68% from its 52-week low and 3% away  from its 52-week high.

NextGen Healthcare Inc. (NASDAQ:NXGN) stock is showing a very bullish move over the past few trading session as the stock jumped to a new 52-week high. In fact the stock has increased by 22% over the past month. The stock is trading above 25% from its 52-week low and 28% away  from its 52-week high.  

SI-BONE, Inc. (NASDAQ:SIBN) stock continued to trade in a range after the recent jump. The stock has moved up about 11% in the past year. The stock is trading above 25% from its 52-week low and just 35% away  from its 52-week high.    

Allied Energy Corp.  (OTCMKTS:AGYP): On a more speculative note, AGYP deserve a look from oil and gas investors as they have recently announced signing a new lease and also struck oil on their leased well sites located in Texas. Global energy prices are at 7 year highs.  With the need for more domestic energy growing apparent, AGYP and its US based exploration projects may benefit. AGYP issued news Thursday that they have achieved production on the #1, #2, and #5 wells of the Gilmer Lease in Texas.
